DishNetworks Loyalty Program - No Loyalty

As I am looking for a better deal, I decided to speak with DishNetwork since I have been with them since 2005. I figured they have a loyalty program that would consider me a good customer and thus give me one of those promotions as if I was a new customer...so, here is the result of that conversations.

Francisco Colon: so....if I cancel the service I have to wait six months?

Mark (ID: LQ3): To qualify for the new customer promotions you would need to be with out service for 3 months.

Francisco Colon: so....let me take that phrase....and express something...

Francisco Colon: why then...when I canceled the service in 2008 and restarted the service in 2010....was I not given the promotion?

Francisco Colon: your Loyalty program is no Loyalty Program...

Francisco Colon: you have a Loyalty department by name...not by actions

Mark (ID: LQ3): I'm not sure, the promotions have changes since 2010 though.

Francisco Colon: so....

Francisco Colon: After Feb 2010?

Francisco Colon: or Before?

Mark (ID: LQ3): Could be that you didn't qualify for that promotion at that time.

Mark (ID: LQ3): I apologize for the inconvenience.

Francisco Colon: as per your previous quote I did...

Francisco Colon: you don't get three month of money from me...

Francisco Colon: and then I restart service in 3 months....for the promotion

Mark (ID: LQ3): Well that would be up to you, the promotion may change in 3 months.

Francisco Colon: regardless....I am concerned with the now...

Francisco Colon: so where is my loyalty?

Francisco Colon: but I would if I cancel the Service for three months and then I am considered a NEWer customer then I would qualify as a NEWer customer and get the package?

Your credit is obviously shitty that's why you get nothing, trust me I know all about the types of accounts at DISH ;)

Even if you cancel and come back, if your credit is garbage then you will get nothing again, not DISH's fault but your own.

so this dish network rep knocks on my door and asks are you with dish network. i say yes, asks me how long have I been with dish, I tell him atleast 3years, The rep tells me that they have a loyalty program if you are with dish. Ok thanks, the rep leaves. I get on the phone and inquire about it. The first person a woman says yes we have the loyalty program. Puts me on hold for say 20 minutes then this non english speaking person get on, goes thru this stupid conversation about what channels do I not watch. I try and tell him what does that have to do with me getting this promo. He puts these fillers words in such has well we can take the channels that you do not watch and tyhat might drop the bill down. I tell this idiot that all I want to know is AM I GOING TO GET THIS PROMO, Idiot says no you have to be a new customer.So I tell him thanks for wasting my time.
